EVs - 2020 the year of growth?

Electrification is gaining momentum as demand for hybrids and full electric vehicles is revealed in a new report. With over 300 UK fleet decision-makers interviewed on their plans for a low emissions future, 360 Media Group compiled an authoritative report that plots the demand, timelines and rationale to switch fuel power. The EV Report powered by the EV Barometer launches on January 2nd 2020 and delivers insights to inform targeting, messaging and planning. Some of the highlights include serious interest in both hybrids and electric cars, with half of fleets expected to run hybrid cars in 2020 and two-thirds planning to order at least one EV. Motivations to switch include cost reduction and CSR policy, however, intangibles such as talent retention may partly explain the increasing popularity of EVs amongst SMEs. With the introduction of Clean Air Zones expected to be impact 70% of fleets, the report also explores how fleets would like to experience EVs. Access to quality pre-owned EVs is seen as an option, potentially good news for leasing companies to strengthen RVs. To request a brochure please email
